Thank you so much for all the kind words, well wishes, cards, and gifts for Cheryl and me. Not only at this season but all through the year. “I have chosen’.

God’s electing grace in the Lord Jesus Christ is the great battering ram against human pride, arrogance, and self-sufficiency. It is that which causes man to stub up in rebellion to the sovereign will and word of God or to bow to Him in humble submission seeking mercy. To every believer it is a most comforting truth. We look back and wonder why we know, believe, and understand Him in the gospel of His grace in, by, and through the Lord Jesus Christ when so many don’t. the answer is clear, Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am He. Isaiah 43:10. Having chosen, redeemed and called us, He will never un-choose us. Mal. 3:6.
